Non-combatants

Moving house soon (to London) so things are quiet on the gaming front and time is in lacking, but here's a short post:

Non-Combatants
Any living thing will fight if cornered, so for non-combatants the following is suggested for when that happens:

  1. Fighters receive multiple attacks as if the non-combatant had less than one HD regardless of how many it does have,
  2. Attacks by the non-combatant are at a combat level of 0 at most (less if particularly weak).
  3. If the non-combatant manages to strike a combatant figure, the latter may save Vs death and if successful the damage is non-lethal.
  4. Non-combatants will only actually make an attack attempt during a round on a roll of 1-3 on a d6; otherwise they just panic and/or make ineffectual thrashings of some kind.

    2. Not too bad; my wife lived there for a few years as a child. At least there is a possibility of meeting up when we are next back in Britain! :D

  2. I'm not sure I can see any use for the non combatant (slaughter) rules, but I hope your move went well & you are happy in your new home

    1. It came up in a situation where time was important and there were innocents (ie, non-combatant good-aligned monsters) who needed rescued. I wanted the non-combatants to have a bit more input into the action than just standing around like zombies.

And, the Internet was finally delivered today; now that it's plugged in the move is officially complete. Hoorah!
